Sports history

She began to run very young, playing "the races" with the neighborhood children, where the winner was given medals made with soda plates, after seeing Ethiopian athletes on television. Remember Tirunesh, Bekele and Gebraselasie. His first training sessions were playing football at the Don Bosco Salesian Center in the Kebelle 2 neighborhood in Debre Zeit.

At the age of 8-10 he returned to athletics, training at a club in Debre Zeit. While a member of this club, he participated in his first race, a 1500m in the neighboring town of Asella, south of Debre Zeit about 200km. The race was for minor categories although the age was not closed so it ran against older athletes. He won at Asella.

Later, he began training at a club in Addis Ababa. Soon after, he changed teams and began training in Demesse Tefera's team. With him, he ran his first international race in India, where he completed a Half Marathon in 1:11. Later he participated in other international races, in India, China, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria or Belarus.

With the audiovisual project launched by Jools Beardon (2018) and focused on the figure of Ada, the first visa for Europe was obtained, to run in the Madrid Half Marathon, where it would finish in 1:13:46 and the Donostia Half Marathon at 1:13:45. The following year (2019) he would also run in the Netherlands, in the Breda Half Marathon and in Madrid, where he would end up retiring due to injury.

He changes teams in summer 2019 and starts training with Tessema Absero in the NN Running Team. After a few months of training in the new team, he runs in the Breda Half Marathon (1: 11: 44 / 4th) and travels to France where he runs the 20KM in Paris (1: 09: 24 / 3rd) and two 10KM races in which he wins with times of 32:22 and 33:14.

On the return, Ada continued training with the NN Running Team and showing an excellent level. From Global Sport Communication they proposed her to run a race in the Netherlands, which was finally canceled by Covid 19.

He is currently training and trying to regain his best level for the races that will take place in autumn 2021.
